At Cappagh, we have a loyal and enthusiastic group of volunteers who give their time, skills and resources to various fundraising events and activities. We are very proud of all our volunteers, and we always welcome more help. Get behind one of our established campaigns, like: TriFitnessFunky Feet, mini marathon, etc.; or take the plunge and organise an event of your own.

Our team is always on hand to support and assist you. Just ask!

Becoming a volunteer or a member of the Cappagh Army, can be a very rewarding experience and your contribution can and will make a significant difference to the lives of our patients. We have an on-going requirement for volunteers and you can become part of our team for a really worthwhile charity.

We welcome any help:

  • Attending an event
  • Volunteering
  • Fundraising
  • Make a regular or once off donation
  • Leave a legacy in your will

Cappagh Hospital Foundation is delighted to announce the launch of its Volunteer Programme.  Our army of volunteers, known as the “Cappagh Crew” are lending their support to patients throughout the hospital:

  • Welcoming patients and their families
  • Escorting patients around the Hospital and to the bus top
  • Providing refreshments and accompany to vending machines
  • Organising and lead entertainment for patients (bingo, music, quiz)
  • Conducting patient visits
  • Serving in reception

The concept is spearheaded by our Patron, TV personality and hotelier Francis Brennan, who is renowned for excellence in comfort and hospitality, and we look forward to providing our patients with some extra touches which we hope will make their visit to Cappagh as pleasant, comfortable and efficient as possible.

If you have some time to spare, perhaps just once a week or once a month, and would like to become a part of the Cappagh Crew, we would love to hear from you. Please contact our Office Manager Maria Dwyer on 01-8340325 or email info@chf.ie.
