2017 Sports Lunch in Aid of Cappagh Hospital

We are delighted to bring you details of the annual Sports Lunch event in aid of Cappagh Hospital. Taking place in the Intercontinental Hotel, Ballsbridge, on Friday May 5th 2017 from 12pm, this is a day to relive Ireland’s greatest sporting moments of 2016 in the fields of Rugby, Soccer, Hurling and Football.

The day starts with a drinks reception, followed by a three course lunch with wine during which the greatest sporting events of 2016 and 2017 will be highlighted by renowned presenter Darragh Maloney, and will feature live interactive interviews and audience Q&A with an elite panel of Ireland’s sporting legends, including Eddie O’Sullivan, Dessie Farrell, Gary O’Toole, Brian Kerr and Kevin Kilbane.

This promises to be a day of excitement, thrills and spectacular sporting moments and will offer you the opportunity to entertain clients and/or employees in one of Dublin’s most prestigious venues.

Tables of 10 are priced at €1,000 and can be purchased from the Foundation office by calling 01-8340325 or emailing info@chf.ie .

Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital has an internationally recognised reputation in the field of Sports Injuries. It represents a tertiary referral centre for the assessment, diagnostic, imaging and treatment of sports injuries, a facility that has been enhanced by the development of OSIC (Orthopaedic and Sports Imaging at Cappagh) and the provision of state of the art MR and CT imaging.

This event will raise vital funds for the purchase of Navigation Assisted Systems and Software for scoliosis corrective surgery. This life-changing equipment was installed at Cappagh in late 2016 and the first surgical procedure took place in early 2017.  Thanks to the success of our 2016 fundraising campaign, the Foundation has already provided almost 50% of the €500,000 funding required and has ambitious plans to complete this commitment in 2017.

Due to the resounding success of last year’s Sports Lunch event, there are limited tables available so please book early to avoid disappointment.
