Kindness is an inner desire that makes us want to do good things even if we do not get anything in return. It is the joy of our life to do them. When we do good things from this inner desire, there is kindness in everything we think, say, want and do.”
Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772)
The concept ‘Acts of Kindness’ achieves just that! It promotes and enforces what Cappagh Hospital Foundation is working to achieve – to constantly improve the services that we provide to our patients, afford them every dignity during their treatment and aftercare and empower them through personalised physiotherapy and rehabilitation to return to home rather than long term care.
Cappagh Hospital is renowned for its excellence in patient care and many critical developments and improvements already in place have been achieved through the kindness and determination of our benefactors; without them we would quite simply cease to exist.
The hospital’s current and very varied research and development priorities are listed below. Whichever one you choose to support will greatly enhance the services of our hospital. Your ‘act of kindness’ is not measured by the size of your gift; every donation, no matter how small, is very much appreciated. As a small and very humble Thank You for your support, we will issue each of our benefactors with a ‘Certificate of Happiness’, acknowledging their contribution and reaffirming the importance and significance of their personal act of kindness.
